Russia made an internal selection this year. The Russian super star is called Sergey Lazarev and he has been announced some months ago. The song “You Are The Only One” has been revealed now with a super-modern video clip. The song has been composed by a no-stranger to Eurovison Mr Philip Kirkorov, who has written several good songs such as “Shady Lady” by Ani Lorak (Ukraine 2008, 2nd place) and “Work Your Magic” by Dmitry Koldun “Work Your Magic” (Belarus 2007, 6th place).

Russia has always been qualifying for the Grand Final and it will do so in Stockholm. This is a great song with great chances for a good position in the Grand Final. This is a strong entry from Russia! Beware!
