It’s great to see that the Polish broadcaster TVP is arranging a national final again. Out of nine entries the Polish public is able to vote their favourite for Stockholm. There is also one big name in the field of competitors: Edyta Gorniak! She has debuted for Poland with “To nie ja!” back in 1994 and made a fabulous 2nd place in Dublin. Since then Edyta Gorniak is one of the most famous Polish ESC singers and in Poland she became a glamour star. She is often being compared with Celine Dion, as she is also covering her songs. Edyta’s voice is crystal clear and a goose bumps guarantee. She is also known for her up-tempo disco songs, but for Eurovision she is going to contribute another ballad. That’s why she is the most famous singers in this year’s Polish final and probably has the best chances for a good placing. But the other candidates are also strong and could be hot candidates for Stockholm.

About me: As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
