Those countries were the unlucky ones tonight:
The Semi Final 2 was probably a bit tougher than the first one. First of all there were 17 entries instead of 16 and the songs might have been a bit stronger. There were of course some of the clear finalists like Sweden, Norway, Slovenia, Azerbaijan and Israel. But there were also some surprise candidate which had great luck to get the qualification like Poland and Lithuania.
One thing is very obvious, the majority of the Western European countries were on the unlucky side. In the following press conference it will be chosen, which country will perform in which half of the Grand Final. The majority of the final spots are located in the first half, due to the fact that the most of the second half slots have as been picked by draw already. There are 7 place taken in the first half and 10 places taken in the second half.
