Beside the official Eurovision Song Contest logo the host broadcaster can have a sub logo – an individual supplement to the motto and theme of the year. This time it has not been created by an agency, it was on in-house production of the ORF.
As previously announced the motto in Vienna will be “Building Bridges”. The designers of the logo have been creating a sphere or big bubble with a ribbon of dots, which should symbolize a bridge traverse the sphere. This also should reflect the diversity of music, artists and viewers. The style might appear very 80’s, but like all the other logos in the past this one will be animated and shine in the colours of the participating countries. We all can be excited how this logo will work on the total impression of the show.
The organizers and the EBU are proud of that modern and cosmopolitan logo, which will present Vienna and Austria far away from the expectable Austria cliché.
