This year’s host city Copenhagen shows from its best side these days. The sun is shining until late with long and warm twilight is immersing in gorgeous red. The temperatures are very pleasant over the day, but chilly at night. That’s typical in Copenhagen and therefore all cafés and bars offer blankets.
There are many sights and points of interest for tourists and there is a lot to explore, historic buildings, the harbour, museums, the Tivoli Park and a lot more.
The atmosphere for all visitors is very inviting already; the friendly Danes are all speaking very good English and are very polite and courteous. The Danes are very tolerant and interested in people of other countries.
In former years the Scandinavian countries were very expensive. Luckily this has changed to the good. It’s not that expensive anymore and prices for lodging and food can be compared with the any other European city. Nevertheless Copenhagen is still one of the most expensive cities in the world, but that’s more in the concern of rents and other items if you live there.
Copenhagen has always been awarded as one of the most liveable cities in the world.
