There have been five candidates in the Spanish final, which took place in Barcelona. In a diverting and nicely made show in front of an enthusiastic audience all five performers have been showing that they could represent Spain in Copenhagen. The most outstanding entry was Brequette with “Más” – a Rihanna styled song with a very charismatic singer and a unique charisma, very sympathetic though, the jury liked her most.
And there was Ruth Lorenzo with “Dancing in the Rain” a strong power ballad in the typical dramatic Eurovision style. At the end there was a tie of Ruth and Brequette, both had 66 points. After a short shock moment, the rule said that the entry with the higher televotes is the declared winner. If Spain made the right choice we will see in May:
