In about 125 days the 58th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Denmark’s capital Copenhagen. The next weeks and months will be full of excitement and a lot to be followed up regarding national pre selections and song announcements.
In some countries the decision has already taken place and we already have the first two songs:
Maria Yaremchuk will be perfoming “Tick Tock” for the Ukraine
Hersiana Matmuja will defend the Albanian colours with “Zemërimi i një nate”.
Some countries have already chosen their representatives, but not the songs: Conchita Wurst for Austria, Tijana Dapčević for FYR Macedonia, Sergej Ćetković for Montenegro and The Common Linnets for the Netherlands. We will keep you updated with all the news around the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.
We are happy that Portugal and Poland are back in the contest, but Bosnia & Herzegovina has withdrawn finally, even if they have confirmed their participation previously. There will be 37 countries taking part this year in Copenhagen, two countries less than last year in Malmö.
