It should have been one of the highlights of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest weeks here in Malmö. This event proposed all singers from Finland, Norway, Iceland, Denmark and Sweden singing live in front of a selected audience in the Glasklart venue at the Malmö waterfront. Due a limited space there were only a few journalists allowed in that premises. After a short meet & greet in the beginning, the singers did their acts on stage. Unfortunately, a lot of people have already left the venue and the atmosphere was a bit reserved. There were also delegations of other nations present.
The Finnish singer Krista wanted the audience to participate a little bit more, as the applause was restrained, which caused a bit disappointment by the singers. Krista extra prepared a special version of Carola’s “Fångad Av En Stormvind” with a manual wind machine, but the audience did not appreciate this with an overwhelming applause. The Danish singer Emmelie gave an acoustic version of her song “Teardrops” together with her composers, playing the guitar and melodica. Eyþór from Iceland proofed his gorgeous voice for another time, beside his Eurovision entry; he also had another song in store. The Norwegian singer Margaret Berger performed her song “I Feed You My Love” in a very good way.
Celebrated as a highlight - the Swedish singer Robin Stjernberg entered the stage with his song “You” for the first time in front of the limited ESC crowd.
