The Eurovision Song Contest is also a big meeting place where people from different countries get together. Here they can make new friends from all over the world. In other words – the social aspect is a very elementary aspect during the ESC weeks. Every year a lot of the national delegations also give receptions, smaller or bigger, depending on the money or effect they are intending. There are enough nice parties throughout the city of Malmö, but the national parties are something special, the entire Eurovision family celebrates itself.
Last night it was the party of San Marino called “Una serata bellisima a Malmö”, which took place in the Nordra Hallen, a section of the Euroclub, which was especially reserved for this event. Ralph Siegel has composed the San Marinese entry in the second year in a row and it’s his 31st active year in the Eurovision Song Contest. Thanks to Ralph and the crew from San Marino a splendid party has delighted all the guests.
There was great Swedish food and drinks and the entire event had a cool club atmosphere. The venue was the hotspot of the night, a lot of guests arrived to celebrate Valentina Monetta’s second try in the ESC. Of course, Valentina performed live in front of the enthused audience. As Valentina is a jazz musician, the music was dominated by this music genre, which gave it all a quite sophisticated character, like in a good jazz club. After this special performance of Valentina, the DJ put the music louder and the crowd was dancing until the early morning.
