As previously reported, it’s the busy time of many national events. This weekend is packed with lots of interesting shows. There are the national finals in Malta and Iceland, as well as the first round of the Swedish Melodifestivalen, and the third heat of the Norwegian semi-finals. Additionally there is the Maltese semi-final tonight.
The Swedish Melodifestivalen will take place in Karlskrona. The most known name is David Lindgren, who had its debut last year. The singer Anna Järvinen is being handled as the favourite of the first show. There are fewer big names in the Melodifestivalen, as in former years. This might have several reasons, as Sweden has won last year in Baku; the chances of winning again are marginal. Another point is that big stars have failed to qualify for the final show.
You can watch the shows on the websites of the broadcasters RUV (Iceland), SVT (Sweden), NRK (Norway), TVM (Malta) under live stream or on www.eurovision.tv / web.tv
