The second semi final will be held tonight at the Crystal Hall in Baku. In the first semi final there haven’t been any big surprises. But the second semi final seems to be more exciting, as there are a lot of strong songs, hence there will be some surprises. The evaluation of the present people here in the press centre in Baku which countries may qualify and which not look as follows: In: Turkey, Sweden, Serbia, Norway, Ukraine, Malta, Belarus, Georgia, Macedonia and Slovenia. Out: Netherlands, Estonia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Croatia, Slovakia and Portugal.
The show itself will be similar like the first show, lovely postcards, a very oriental styled show and an interval act with the last five ESC winners: Dima Bilan (Russia 2008), Maria Serifovic (Serbia 2007), Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009), Lena (Germany 2010) and Ell & Nikki (Azerbaijan 2011). They will perform their winning songs accompanied by Azerbaijani folk music, combined in a special version. At the end they will be singing ABBA’s winning song from 1974 “Waterloo”.
This will be another highlight in Eurovision history!
