Baku is going to be the ESC capital of the year. In the meanwhile all preparations are done, the boulevard from the city centre to the Crystal Hall, as well as the arena itself. This has been officially opened by the Premier Minister of Azerbaijan. The Crystal hall is a new landmark with outside illumination which brings a special atmosphere to the city at the Caspian Sea.
Furthermore the city has been decorated with many banners, flags and flowers. The citizens of Baku really can feel the heat of the Eurovision Song Contest by now already. When guests from more than 40 countries will arrive, it’s even more international. This is a unique experience for the people of Baku and it’s visitors.
