For the first time the complete line up has been shown in the first dress rehearsal today. The entire Semi Final 1 has now its frame, filled with anthem, introduction, salutation, postcards and a first look into the green room. The interval act has not been shown yet, but it should be the Cold Steel Drummers. The only difficulties could have been seen with the host. It seemed that they did not know what to do and when. Anke Engelke is the funniest and made jokes all the time, Judith Rakers has been mostly seen in the Greenroom and Stephan Raab only in the beginning. Let’s hope that they are going to improve their tasks before the live shows. The postcards are lovely made and show nice spots in Germany, from the coastline to the Alps as well as Berlin. In every postcard you will see different situations with inhabitants of the participating countries that live in Germany and send greetings to the representative singers. The whole show is nicely made with the beating heart in the national colors of each country, and the heart-throb is beating trough the arena quite loudly and gives a little more excitement. The strongest entries with the best applause were: Albania, Serbia, Finland, San Marino, Hungary and Azerbaijan.
Chief Editor of eurovisionlive.com
About me: Due to the fact that my parents are musicians, I have a gained a great enthusiasm for music. Since 1979 my interest in the Eurovision Song Contest has grown enormously. My first ESC I joined was in Dublin 1995. Six years later I founded the website eurovisionlive.com in the year 2001. The most fascinating part for me is the original idea of the Eurovision Song Contest – the peaceful contest of the European countries. I am very happy that I have the chance to contribute my little part for the greatest music show in the world.
