The busy time with rehearsals, press conferences and interviews do not take an end. Nevertheless we have seen all semi finalists by now. On Saturday afternoon it’s time for the finalists to rehearse. Every day there are more people around and it’s not as calm anymore as it used to be in the beginning. Some of the contributions really have increased compared to the national finals or the versions which were available judging by the video clip and CD. For some countries there have been no changes or only slight ones in regards of the performance like Estonia, Israel, Latvia and Denmark. The surprise of the day was Slovenia. The stage is stunning, the illumination is very beneficial and the song really sounds good now. Jedward from Ireland promised something special on stage, but there is nothing more as it’s already known. Dana International from Israel cancelled her press conference and all interviews due to unknown reasons. But she is renowned for a behavior like this.
Chief Editor of eurovisionlive.com
About me: Due to the fact that my parents are musicians, I have a gained a great enthusiasm for music. Since 1979 my interest in the Eurovision Song Contest has grown enormously. My first ESC I joined was in Dublin 1995. Six years later I founded the website eurovisionlive.com in the year 2001. The most fascinating part for me is the original idea of the Eurovision Song Contest – the peaceful contest of the European countries. I am very happy that I have the chance to contribute my little part for the greatest music show in the world.
