The second day at the 56th Eurovision Song Contest has started with Malta’s rehearsal. The Maltese delegation has chosen a complete LED background with abstract forms. On the other side San Marino does not used LED at all, the main focus should be on the singer and the atmosphere of the calm song. The stage performance of Senit from SanMarino has been a very positive surprise; she has a great voice which is also suitable for such a big arena. The high expectations of the Croatian and the Hungarian entries must be scaled down. Daria from Croatia changes her dress three times and that does not look well on stage. Kati from Hungary only moves a little bit to her dance song and the LED light jackets of the background dancers are more a minus than a plus. Unless there are no major changes, the two countries will have difficulties with their qualification

About me: Due to the fact that my parents are musicians, I have a gained a great enthusiasm for music. Since 1979 my interest in the Eurovision Song Contest has grown enormously. My first ESC I joined was in Dublin 1995. Six years later I founded the website eurovisionlive.com in the year 2001. The most fascinating part for me is the original idea of the Eurovision Song Contest – the peaceful contest of the European countries. I am very happy that I have the chance to contribute my little part for the greatest music show in the world.
