This weekend there will be a Eurovision concert to be held in the municipality of Zandvoort close to Amsterdam, like last year. Many singers of this year’s ESC have confirmed their participation like United Kingdom, Israel, Belgium, Turkey and many more. This is a chance for the singer to meet each other for the first time and also for the audience to have a closer look to the singers and their live singing qualities.
For this year’s interval act there is also planned a totally new and interesting thing called “Flashmob”. A flashmob is a dance by a big group or audience, and the Norwegian Television NRK is still filming all across Europe e.g. Ljubljana, London, Vilnius, Dusseldorf and more to start the first pan-European flashmob. This should underline the message of this year’s contest’s motto “Share the moment”.
There will also be postcards filmed in all the 39 participating countries, which has also be done in the 1996 ESC in Oslo.
