The Eurovision stage has now been finalized! It has taken quite a while to prepare the Telenor Arena with a suitable interior design. This was also a very well kept secret, which now has been revealed. The stage in Oslo is a round, glass based abstract form in a retro design. Indeed it’s a refreshing and cool design, which perfectly fits into this year’s motto “Share the moment”. It’s not as big as last year in Moscow and does not use as many LED lights, furthermore background illumination is used. The balls from the official logo in silver, gold and pink will be placed wherever it’s possible. As always there is room for every individual need, so the look of the stage will change from entry to entry. Overall, the stage has some similarities to the 2005 stage in Kiev, but it may also have a 70’s look. The Norwegian organisers have probably followed an old recipe – the less the better.
