Tonight the highly expected second semi final will take place in the Belgrade arena. Many people think that the song are much stronger. Due to the two semi finals the chance for qualification has raised a lot. Formerly there were 28 countries and only 10 were picked, with the new system from 19 countries ten will go to the final. The ten favorites among the journalists are: 1. Sweden, 2. Ukraine, 3. Turkey, 4. Portugal, 5. Iceland, 6. Belarus, 7. Bulgaria, 8. Georgia, 9. Malta and 10. Cyprus. It's going to be very exciting again and the new concept brings a big thrill to the contest. Yesterday the German and the Finnish delegation enjoyed a boat trip on the rivers of Danube and Sava. The weather was beautiful and the sunny break was good for everybody during the tight schedules of the recent days.

About me: Due to the fact that my parents are musicians, I have a gained a great enthusiasm for music. Since 1979 my interest in the Eurovision Song Contest has grown enormously. My first ESC I joined was in Dublin 1995. Six years later I founded the website eurovisionlive.com in the year 2001. The most fascinating part for me is the original idea of the Eurovision Song Contest – the peaceful contest of the European countries. I am very happy that I have the chance to contribute my little part for the greatest music show in the world.
