Early in the morning in Europe, late in the evening in Australia, the final decision who is going be the representative in the ESC in Rotterdam was made by 50% jury voting and 50% public voting. The Australian singer 2020 from Sydney: Montaigne with her song “Don’t Break Me”.
There were ten songs in the show “Australia Decides” and the quality level was higher than last year. All artists have been classically introduced by a postcard film. Among the favourites was also the Australian super star Vanessa Amorosi, who could not make it to the top position.
Swedish ESC winner and host Måns Zelmerlöw and the Australian representative from 2016 Dami Im have been performing as interval act individually and also together with a duet “March On”
Dami Im also announced that she is going to try it again 2021.
