More and more participants have been announced. There has only been one national final in Albania so far. It seems that there are more internal choices than national finals. For sure we can expect fulfilling evenings with national finals in: Australia, Belarus, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Ukraine.
In every country the method of choosing the ESC entry is different e.g. in Italy the well- established San Remo Festival will also be the platform for determine the song for the Eurovision Song Contest. In some countries there is still unclear, how the representatives will be chosen e.g. Germany, Greece, Ireland, Moldova, North Macedonia, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
This weekend we will have the chance to watch the semi finals in Norway and Lithuania. Both countries do have more semi finals and a Grand Final.

About me: Due to the fact that my parents are musicians, I have a gained a great enthusiasm for music. Since 1979 my interest in the Eurovision Song Contest has grown enormously. My first ESC I joined was in Dublin 1995. Six years later I founded the website eurovisionlive.com in the year 2001. The most fascinating part for me is the original idea of the Eurovision Song Contest – the peaceful contest of the European countries. I am very happy that I have the chance to contribute my little part for the greatest music show in the world.
