Now the last 10 finalists have been determined. After a spectacular and entertaining Semi Final 2 the following countries have made it to the Grand Final on Saturday:
This means that the other countries have to go home, these are: Armenia, Ireland, Moldova, Latvia, Romania, Austria, Croatia and Lithuania.
It was to be expected that the big favourites should have no problem to pass the semi finals, but after tonight’s performances not all of the singers sang in their best form such as Malta, Armenia and also Albania. On the other hand, the best voices of the night were from North Macedonia, Sweden, Russia and Croatia.
In tonight’s press conference the singers will draw in which part of the show they will perform in the Grand Final. After that the Israeli broadcaster KAN will determine the exact running order in accordance with the EBU reference group.
Editor in Chief of eurovisionlive.com
About me: Due to the fact that my parents are musicians, I have a gained a great enthusiasm for music. Since 1979 my interest in the Eurovision Song Contest has grown enormously. My first ESC I joined was in Dublin 1995. Six years later I founded the website eurovisionlive.com in the year 2001. The most fascinating part for me is the original idea of the Eurovision Song Contest – the peaceful contest of the European countries. I am very happy that I have the chance to contribute my little part for the greatest music show in the world.
