The Finnish broadcaster YLE has determined the internationally well-known DJ Darude as representative for the Finnish entry in Tel Aviv. This talented guy is really successful in the techno and festival scene and will definitely get a lot of support by the community.
The song will be chosen in the UMK show on 2 March where three songs will be presented by Darude. Due to the fact that Daurde is more a DJ it seems that he will have some other singers. It is to be expected that the Finnish song will be very danceable, which would be perfect to the party metropolis Tel Aviv.
Darude’s debut track was “Sandstorm” in 1999

About me: My first Eurovision Song Contest I watched behind the walls of the former GDR in 1987. This was even possible at that time! Since then I am following the ESC every year on TV. In 2004 I had the chance to watch it live in Istanbul. Due to the fact that Jens and Bernd have collected many interviews, photos, etc. the idea came up to show all this contest to the public. We founded the website eurovisionlive.com and we have been one of the first to offer the medium internet for the Eurovision Song Contest.
