In less than a week we will know the winner of the 63rd. By now all artists of the 43 participating countries have rehearsed and know the stage, the specific requirements so that they can prepare on their live performance. It now becomes clearer who might be on the left side of the scoreboard and who not. And there are always some unforeseen situation which may come up. The Czech favourite had an accident on stage, so he won’t be able to do the original choreography anymore, will this harm the result?
The stage design has been agreed by the show producers of RTP and the individual delegations long beforehand. Hence big changes in the stage setting are not nearly impossible anymore. At the end it’s the broadcaster’s choice and decision.

About me: As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
