Right after the Grand Final the full results are available for everybody. Here you can en detail who has given which country how many points, it’s even divided up for each jury member of all the juries. There are some interesting insights to note.
For example that Portugal has already won the Semi Final 1 with a great number of 370 points, that’s 79 points more than the second placed Moldova. Greece has just made into the Grand Final with 115 points, while Georgia, which came 11th received 99 points. It’s also interesting to see that Omar Naber from Slovenia only received 36 points and did not make it into the Grand Final, compared to his previous attempt in Kiev 2005 he receive at least 69 points and made the 12th place in the Semi Final, that’s a sad fact. Latvia came last, maybe this was too modern for the viewers.
In the Semi Final 2, the clear winner was Bulgaria with 403 points, almost a record number with a margin of 172 to the runner up Hungary. Another interesting fact is that Israel came third in the Semi Final with 207 points, while Imri only received 39 points in the Grand Final. That comes mainly from the missing televotes, this might be due to the starting position #1 in the Grand Final, while he had the 18th starting position in the Semi Final. Maybe there is a bigger impact of the starting position for the TV spectators as expected. Denmark has just slipped in the Top 10 of the Semi Final 2 with 101 points, while the 11th place Serbia was only 3 points behind and did not make it. A very disappointing 18th place went to San Marino with only 1 point, which came from the German televoters, probably Ralph Siegel supporters. That’s a bitter fact indeed.
