The entire organization of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has been delayed. So everything was in a delay from the very beginning, the entire concept from lightening to ticket sale was in question. Now the main people from the core team have resigned – even executive producers Victoria Romanova and Oleksandr Kharbin and some more. The reason for this was that the group did not feel able to continue working on the project owing to staffing matters.
At least the ticket sale is on the way, but it’s quite a disaster that 21 people in key positions in the Eurovision project will not be working anymore. The time is ticking - there are less than 100 days until the first singers, journalists and fans will be arriving in Kiev.
Let’s cross the fingers that this will be sorted out quickly and that it can be guaranteed that the ESC will take place on the scheduled dates in May.

About me: As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
