Information about the singer

It’s the second time since Montenegro is appearing as an independent participant in the Eurovision Song Contest. After the break asunder of Yugoslavia in the early 90’s all the new independent countries of Yugoslavia were represented in the contest. Many rumors say that the Balkan countries prefer to vote for each other. Despite of the new national identities the taste of music is more likely the same in Bosnia & Herzegovina as well as in Serbia and Croatia and so on. Many singers are well known and popular in all of these countries, so it’s no wonder that there is neighbour country voting. It’s similar to the Scandinavian countries, which do the same every year.
This year German composer Ralph Siegel (Ein bisschen Frieden by Nicole in 1982 number 1 for Germany) is going to start over again. It’s his 19th entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. As the rules were different this year in Germany he is going to try his luck in Montenegro, which is a bit unusual. Ralph Siegel has also been the composer for Switzerland in 2006 and several times for Luxembourg.

The song “Just get out of my life” is a fresh, fast, modern and catchy tune, which doesn’t sound like Ralph Siegel at all. Starting on position #1 it’s a good opening for this year’s contest. The voice of Andrea seems to be a bit weak on stage, different as in the video clip so the big question is if this will be enough for Moscow?
