There were five songs to choose from and there was a public voting. Due to political reasons the predecision had to be removed to a different place in Yerevan. The song “Qele Qele” is a kind of ethno-song, which we have heard in recent years more than often. But this is a good one, lots of folkloristic elements and a good rhythm. And it is for granted that this song will qualify, as there are so many Armenians throughout Europe who will vote for it. We don’t complain, unless it is a good song.
