Information about the singer

Hungary has come back to Eurovision. Due to not regular participations Hungary has to start in the semifinal again this year. Hungary’s first appearance on a Eurovision stage was back in Dublin in 1994 when Friderika came fourth with a wonderful ballad! The latest success was the group NOX in Kiev in 2005. NOX qualified for the final and was able to show a brilliant stage performance in front of million TV spectators all over Europe.
This year Magdi Ruzsa from Serbia is going to sing for Hungary a very interesting song. There are some musical similarities with Hungary’s entry from 1998 sung by Charlie, which unfortunately received four points only. Untypical for Eurovision indeed, but “Unsubstantial Blues” is a rock ballad with a modern tune and a sophisticated kind. Intersting.
