Information about the singer

Austria has returned to the Eurovision Song Contest. Rumors said, that Austria was not further interested in participating due to the bad results in Kiev. Maybe it’s just a reason of money, because Austria has also many fans and people watch it every year. Austria has only won once in 1966 with Udo Jürgens “Merci Cherie”. Vienna would be a terrific place to host the contest again.
Eric Paplaya is going to bring the crown back to Austria. He is singing a modern song with lots of energy. In his videoclip he is showing solidarity with AIDS and HIV – that’s also the theme in his song “Get A Life – get alive”.
