Influenced by American and British music, Iceland is trying it’s way in the European music style. The Eurovision songs from Iceland has not been that successful, it seems that the Scandinavians are the only ones to give points, even if there were remarkable entries in the history of Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest. Last year Iceland came with the exotic and crazy Silvia Night, who has been disqualified in the semifinal. This year - people may wonder – there will be something completely different agian. An older guy, who looks like a rocker is singing a rock ballad. Almost a bit sentimental and unusual. The only problem is that the melody will catch people’s attention after hearing the song after a couple of times.
