Information about the singer

There have been quite a few attempts to sent drag queens to Eurovision. And this concept never really worked. Israel’s winning song “Diva” by Dana International was something different, she was a transsexual and has convinced with her superb performance and song. The Slovenian transvestite group Sestre tried to convince as air hostesses and failed in Tallinn. The song wasn’t that catchy and funny as expected. The same drama might happen to DQ. The song is nothing really special. It’s a simple disco song with a refrain which can easily be forgotten after hearing 27 other songs in the semifinal. Her outfit from the Danish selection is ok but not really what you can expect from a drama queen. If she is working on her outfit and changes her stage performance – she is not dancing at all – she might have a chance to qualify for this year’s final. Not to forget that there is another drag queen competing for he Ukraine. Just imagine having two drag queens acts in this year’s final, might be a European shocke.
