Information about the singer

Belgium has won the Eurovision Song Contest only once and it was in the year 1986 with the youngest winner of all times: Sandra Kim. She came along with a very uplifting and swinging song “J’aime la vie”. 25 years later Kate Ryan maybe had the greatest potential to bring back the crown to Belgium again. Unfortunately Kate had to sing in Athens’s semifinal, which is not watched by that many people like in the final. Many people probably thought, she is so well known so she will receive points even though – but she failed bitterly. The Belgians and many fans were very disappointed by the bad result. Kate’s song has been one of last year’s smash hits. “Je t’adore” has been played by many radio stations all summer long.
This year there is a group called KMG. They are bringing the 70’s back as well as the easy living with a powerful and happy song called “Love Power”. It’s a groovy and danceable song which should not be underestimated. Even if Belgium has to qualify for the final, in comparison to many other songs, this one is uplifting and it’s pure summerfeeling. Go Belgium!
