The sun is shining in Helsinki. That’s a beautiful perspective of the Euroclub at daylight. At this place all the participants are able to meet each other in a casual atmosphere at night.

You can see that the city of Helsinki is covered with big screens showing the video clips of the participating countries. The Finns and visitors get used to the music of this year’s Eurovision.

The railway station was designed by Eliel Saarinen and opened to the public in 1919. The building is made of mostly Finnish granite and is distinguished by the clock tower and the statues holding lamps outside the main entrance.

The stage offers all imaginable designs and atmospheres. Bulgaria’s entry is about water and as you can see there is a river flowing through the Hartwall Arena.

Great satellite dishes will be applied for the live transmissions on Thursday and Saturday.

This is Evridiki on the beautiful stage. As the song “Comme ci comme ca” goes faster the mosaics mutate at a forced rate. Impressive!

She is one of the favourites of the semi-final already: Evridiki from Cyprus. She probably is the most experienced Eurovison-singer of this year, because she has already participated for Cyprus in 1992 and 1994.
