Information about the singer
A great enrichment in the Eurovision Song Contest is the participation of Russia. Since 1994 Russia takes part and it always surpised the people with extraordinary entries. The country has over 148 million inhabitants and offers a great cultural variety. Russian music is great. We will never forget contributions like "Primadonna" by Alla Pugachova (Dublin 1997), "Solo" by Alsou (Stockholm 2000) and "Ne verj, ne boijsa" by t.a.t.u (Riga 2003).
Due to the good result of "Believe me" from last year, Russia is automatically qualified for the big final. The singer is Natalia Podolska with "Nobody hurt no one". The song is not really suitable for the Eurovision Song Contest - it appears a bit boring and unspectacular.
