Austria will be represented by Manuel Ortega, who is very popular in his country right now. He is a very talented and attractive singer, who is used to sing on stages. His love to music exists since his childhood.

He joined the "Florianer Sängerknaben" - a boys choir in Austria. Manuel already sang almost 200 concerts when he was between 13 and 15. With 17 he became the lead singer of the group "Whaty Up", after entereing a big casting for boy bands in Austria.

His solo carreer has started last year and "La vida" was his greatest hit.

He has now released an album called "Any kind of love".
In the press conference today, Manuel showed is talent to the journalists and conviced with his friendly behaviour. He would like to sing a duett with the Spanish singer Rosa and his most favourite Austrian entry is "Merci Cherie" which was sung by Udo Juergens in 1966 and got first. We are excited where Austria is going to end up this year.
