Information about the singer

This year there are two singers with the same name: Michelle. One for Germany and one for The Netherlands. The 19 years old singer has won unexpected the Dutch final in Rotterdam. Her song is called “Out On My Own”, which she will present half lying and half standing in the final in Copenhagen.

After leaving her parents’ home she began to concentrate on her singing career. With the age of four she started to play the violin, four years later she learned to play the cello. 1998 she took part at a preparation course at the Conservatory in The Hague (Den Haag) and she now studies singing in Amsterdam.

Prophecies consider her a great career. She is very happy to present The Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest, and she could be among the top five on Saturday evening. Her favorites are France and Denmark.
