Information about the singer

Tal Sondak comes from Herzelyia and presents a more traditional song for Israel. He has already won two Israeli song festivals. He is well known in Jewish communities in Denmark, U.S.A., Canada and Switzerland.

Tal plays well the piano and his face is quite often seen on Israeli television. He spreads out high self-confidence and he is sure that he is going to win. That’s also one reason why he hasn’t got any favorites this year, beside himself!

The song “Ein davar” has won the Israeli pre-selection, but the version was different: slower and more folkloristic, which we prefer. The arrangement was totally changed for the presentation of the song for the final in Copenhagen, which is not an advantage!
